Genesee ARC Expanding Recycling Of Electronic Waste

Genesee ARC will expand its ability to reduce, reuse and recycle electronic waste, thanks to a grant from The Arc and the Walmart Foundation. The local nonprofit is one of 10 chapters nationwide to share in $270,000 worth of sub-grants administered through The Arc. Genesee ARC’s sub-grant award totals $25,719. Along with creating additional employment options for people with disabilities, this proposal also targets social needs by supporting community-wide recycling efforts benefiting the environment.
